FB/IG/Threads Post Reply
Drowning in comments? Or watching engagement quietly fade?
You want to reply to every comment, but there just aren't enough hands. And when comments pile up unanswered, your followers' enthusiasm cools right along with them. FB/IG/Threads Post Reply jumps in the moment a fan comments, replying automatically. You can also turn it into a campaign engine: "comment to get the cheat sheet," "drop a keyword for a coupon code," and more. The more comments roll in, the more the algorithm pushes your post, so reach and buzz climb together.
💡 TL;DR
Comment reply = public, posted right under the post for everyone to see.
Direct message = sent privately into the person's inbox. You can switch on both at once.
Step 1: Create a campaign

In the backend, open the Applications menu and click into FB/IG/Threads Post Reply.
Hit Add in the top-left corner to start building your first campaign.
The list in the middle stores every campaign you've built, so come back here anytime to review or tweak them.

Step 2: Fill in the basics and pick a post
Platform: choose FB, IG, or Threads.
Campaign name: this is just for your reference in the backend; fans never see it, so give it a name you'll recognize (like "June Cabbage Giveaway").
Campaign period: set the start and end times. It kicks off and shuts off on its own, right on schedule.
Pick the post you want to attach auto-replies to.
Only published posts can be selected, so publish first, then come back and choose it.

💡 Running it on an FB Live? Here's the trick. Lives can't be scheduled in advance, and the post only shows up in the list once you're live. So we use a "set it up first, rebind later" workaround:
When creating the campaign, bind an older post for testing, and pick a more unusual keyword so a stray comment doesn't trigger it by accident.
Once you go live, head back to the backend, edit the campaign, and rebind it to the live post.
Don't forget to hit Update afterward, or the changes won't go live!
When the live wraps up, remember to pause the campaign, otherwise people commenting later will still get replies.
Step 4: Set your reply conditions (the main event)
Open the editing window and you'll see six independent toggles on the left, each handling a different trigger. Switch on the ones you need and fill them in; leave the rest off.

Public comment replies
Post comment — Toggle it on, then type your reply in the "comment content" field (up to 1,000 characters).
🌊 Real-world play: On a launch or campaign post, auto-reply a quick thank-you plus a next step to every comment ("Thanks for the love! Details in our bio link"). It builds that "this brand is alive and always answers" impression, and sends your engagement count climbing.

Keyword comment
In the "Keywords" field, enter your trigger words, up to 5 (like "+1" or "me").
Choose Exact match (must match the keyword exactly) or Partial match (triggers if the comment contains the keyword).
Type your public reply in the "comment content" field.
To pair different keywords with different replies, click Add keyword reply.
🌊 Play like this: Run a "comment '+1' below to enter the draw" campaign — only the people who comment the right word get a reply, so casual chatter won't set it off by mistake. With multiple keywords, you can even build an interactive menu: comment product A's name for A's intro, comment B for B's.

Direct message replies
DM replies bind directly to a conversation module, sending the whole package — cards, rich media, links — in one go. Perfect for coupon codes, giveaway links, and anything you'd rather not post in public.
Auto DM — Just bind a conversation module. Click Add random response to bind several modules, and the system sends one at random.
🌊 Dive In: Real Play: Write "Check your DMs for a treat" in the public reply, then send coupon codes, vouchers, or sign-up forms privately. The perk stays off the public feed, and everyone who comments becomes a DM contact you can remarket to later. Bind several modules for a random response and you've got a "comment to win" draw — everyone gets something different, which adds a little surprise.

Keyword DM — Enter keywords (up to 5) → choose Exact or Partial match → bind a conversation module.
🌊 Dive In: Real Play: Post "comment 'recipe' and we'll DM you the full version" — the secret word unlocks the private content. Pair different keywords with different modules and a single post becomes several claim paths: comment "Plan A" for A's quote, "Plan B" for B's.

Tag-count DM — Enter the threshold in the "count" field → bind a conversation module.
🌊 Real-world play: Launch a "tag 3 friends and we'll DM you a gift" campaign. Your fans' comments spread the post to a wider crowd, so you're boosting reach and gathering contacts at the same time.

Image-detect DM — Just bind a conversation module.
🌊 Dive In: Real Play: Run a "share your haul / unboxing / check-in for a reward" campaign. Ask fans to attach a photo in the comments; when the system spots an image, it auto-DMs the reward or the next step, saving you from checking every single picture by hand.

Once everything's set, hit Confirm in the top-right to save, and you're done!
⚠️ When several DM conditions fire at once, the system sends just one message, picking one in this order: keyword → tag-count → image-detect. It won't send a separate DM for each. So decide which scenario matters most before you set it up.
Combine them for double the impact
Each condition is handy on its own, but pairing "public comment + DM" is where this feature really shines — use public comments to drive engagement, use DMs to turn people into contacts. A few ready-made playbooks you can lift straight off the shelf:
Giveaway that grows your list: Keyword comment publicly replies "Got your +1 — surprise in your DMs 👀," while Keyword DM sends the giveaway link and coupon straight to their inbox. The post buzzes, and your list quietly fills up.
New-product pre-order grab: Post "comment 'pre-order' if you want in," and Keyword DM instantly sends a pre-order form or product card, catching your hottest leads the moment they raise a hand.
Live-only perks: During the live, call out "type 'claim' for a voucher," paired with Keyword DM for instant delivery — selling while you stream (check the FB Live tips back in Step 2!).
UGC showcase campaign: Ask fans to comment with a photo check-in, and Image-detect DM auto-sends the reward. No manual checking, plus a pile of genuine word-of-mouth.
💡 When the perk you DM is built on a conversation module, every commenter steps right into your member journey — leaving you a contact list to broadcast and remarket to down the line.
Step 5: Test it out
Head to your post and drop a real comment. Confirm the public reply lands and the DM arrives — one clean check and you're all set!

Adjusting later
Click a campaign in the list → the data panel opens on the right (showing the bound post, plus comment- and DM-reply counts).
Click the pencil icon → edit the basics (campaign name, etc.).
Click Go to detailed settings → edit the six comment / DM reply conditions.
The toggle in the top-right lets you pause the campaign directly.
